Singing Pumpkins - test #1

I finally finished one of the props for this year's Halloween extravaganza at the Martin house! I still have to work on it a bit, but not a bad first pass I'd say.

Thanks to Dionicia for the inspiration.

  1. Crazy. So how exactly is the music choreographed? Is the song marked up somehow? Do you have control over it, or is it premade that way? Just curious how close we are to a hyper-realistic Jaredbot that sits in your office Ferris Bueller-style and echos what you say while at home working on Halloween stuff year round.

  3. I have a servo controller card hooked up to the servos. I connected a joystick up and played the song 4 times (one for each pumpkin) and used the joystick to control the mouth movements. Software records the motions and then can play it back. Might have to work on that Jaredbot :)
